If you need to register or make changes to your Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP), visit Registry @ South Trail Crossing Ltd. in Calgary. Whether you are a new Albertan applying for coverage or a current resident who needs to make changes to your coverage information, we are happy to help. Our friendly staff can make updates including changes to your name, address, marital status, and the addition or removal of coverage for dependents.

THERE IS NO COST TO REGISTER OR MAINTAIN YOUR ACCOUNT

For more information and to access appropriate forms, we encourage you to visit the Alberta Health and Wellness website. To ensure efficient service, we ask that you print and complete the necessary form(s) prior to visiting us. Keep in mind, there is no cost to register or maintain your health care account! If you have already applied for coverage, you do not need to re-apply.

STEPS TO APPLY FOR AHCIP

You can take a step by step approach to applying for AHCIP in Alberta:

  • If you fulfill the criteria, complete the application form. You can download the form online.

  • Gather your supporting documents and bring them into our office.
