How Do I Know When My Vehicle Registration Expires?
In Alberta, vehicle registrations expire on an assigned month based on your surname. You can find your registration expiry date on your registration certificate or the registration expiry date chart. But make sure to check your registration certificate for the expiration year.
Mail-in Renewal
You must complete the Vehicle Registration Renewal Mail-In Application to renew your vehicle registration by mail. You must also provide payment by cheque or money order. Online Renewal
To renew your registration online, you must have a valid Alberta.ca account, as well as the following:
